Lenoir CC Announces Major Facility Upgrades for Baseball Field

Lenoir Community College Athletics announced plans on Tuesday for significant upgrades to the Lancer Baseball Field, including the construction of a new press box, concession stand, and bathroom facility.

According to the announcement, work is expected to begin soon and will continue throughout the 2026 season. Fans attending games will notice ongoing changes around the ballpark as the project progresses.

The upgrades are aimed at enhancing the overall game-day experience for players, fans, and the Lancer community.

When asked about the importance of building a strong game-day environment for fans, LCC Athletic Director Ryan Meadows emphasized the need for the project.

“Very important,” Meadows said. “The facility is much needed. This is being funded from the final part of the agreement from the Kinston Wingmen.”

The project marks another step forward for Lancer Baseball as the program continues to invest in its facilities and long-term future. Updates will be shared as construction moves ahead.
