GCMS boys improve to 4-1 with win over Chicod

Greene County Middle School moved to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play after earning a 45–27 victory over Chicod on Thursday.

• Kam Jones – 16 points

• Josiah Joyner – 10 points

Head coach Steven Criste said the game was much tighter than the final score suggests.
“Game was way closer than it looks on paper. Chicod stay within 10–12 for most of the game but boys finally locked in and got a 20 point lead midway of 4th quarter which finally let the guys on the bench to come in and close the game out.”

GCMS returns to action on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, on the road at Grifton. UPDATE Monday’s Game is postponed
