Greene Central hosted a home conference wrestling match Wednesday, earning a split on the night with a narrow loss to Farmville Central followed by a decisive win over Tarboro.
Farmville Central edged Greene Central 42–39 in a tightly contested opening match that came down to bonus points. The Jaguars picked up falls from Wyat Jenkins (113), Jacob Edmonds (144), Giancarlo Diaz (150), and Steve Marquez (190), while Grayson Wicker earned a fall at 165. Greene Central also collected multiple forfeits, but Farmville Central secured key wins, including a technical fall from James Provence at 126 and a major decision from Issac Provence at 175 to seal the outcome.
