Info Submitted by: Coach Jayme Tilley

In a rescheduled season opener, Greene County Middle School took down Farmville Middle School in a decisive 30-6 victory. Initially slated for last Wednesday, the game was moved to Monday due to extreme heat conditions.

Leading the charge for Greene County was KaZarey Farrior, who contributed three touchdowns and racked up 150 yards of offense. DJ Green added another score and executed multiple two-point conversions to seal the win.

On the defensive front, the Rams were lead by standout performances from KaZarey Farrior, DJ Green, and Lane Rouse.

"We're really proud of how the boys came out for the first game. It's a great step in the right direction for our goal of winning the conference," said Coach Jayme Tilley. The team will face another significant challenge this Thursday as they travel to North Pitt to take on Wellcome Middle School.
