Greene County Middle School Girls Volleyball Team Heads to Playoff Showdown

The Greene County Middle School Girls Volleyball Team has had an outstanding season, finishing with an overall record of 11 wins and 2 losses, with both losses coming against Chicod. In conference play, they boast a 10-2 record. Currently ranked #2, the team is set to face Ayden, ranked #3, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM at home (GCMS). A victory will propel them to the championship game on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, where they will take on Chicod, the #1 ranked team, with the location and time still to be determined (TBD). The season schedule highlights their strong performance: wins against G.R. Whitfield (home, 4-0), A.G. Cox (away, 4-0), Wellcome (home, 4-0), Bethel (home, 4-0), Grifton (away, 4-0), Ayden (home, 4-0), G.R. Whitfield (away, 4-0 with a go fan entry note), Wellcome (away, 4-0), Bethel (away, 4-0), Grifton (home, 4-0), and Ayden (away, 4-0), with losses only to Chicod (away, 0-4 on 09/22 and home, 0-4 on 10/15).
