Greene County Middle School Softball Wins Conference Championship
SNOW HILL — The Greene County Middle School softball team capped off a strong 2024 season by winning the conference championship, defeating No. 1 seed C.M. Eppes 14-6 in the title game.
Led by Head Coach Moneasia Moore and assistants Kayliah Robinson and Brady Anderson, the Rams finished with a 9-3 overall record and went 5-2 in conference play. After a narrow 4-3 win over Ayden in the semifinal round, Greene County avenged two regular-season losses to C.M. Eppes with their biggest win of the year.

The Rams notched key regular-season wins over Chicod (14-8, 15-9) and Ayden (15-9, 14-6), and collected non-conference victories against Bethel (17-0), Woodington (12-7), and Ayden (5-4). Their only setbacks came in early matchups against C.M. Eppes and Frink.
Greene County’s depth and consistency across the field paid off with a title run that saw every player contribute. The championship marked a major accomplishment for the Rams’ softball program and capped off a season of growth and success.
