Kinston controlled the scoreboard from the start, producing 21 points in the first quarter and adding 19 more in the second for a 40–5 halftime lead. With the margin in hand, a running clock in the second half helped close out the 25-point victory.
Clinton’s scoring came from four players. J. Smith hit the Dark Horses’ only three-pointer and finished with 4 points. J. Tank and Wilson each added 4, with Wilson scoring two key baskets late. #10 Tann scored 3 points. Clinton’s quarter-by-quarter totals were 1, 4, 7, and 6.
