Kinston to Host USTA Tri-Level Adult State Tennis Championships, Sept. 22-24

Tennis enthusiasts and sports fans in Lenoir and surrounding counties are in for a treat as Kinston welcomes the 2023 USTA NC Tri-Level State Tennis Championships from September 22-24. The tournament will be held at various venues including Kinston Country Club, Bill Fay Park, Fairfield Park, Greene Ridge Racquet Club (Greene County), and Greene Central High School.

In collaboration with VisitKinston, the Kinston/Lenoir County Parks & Recreation department is set to host over 500 adult tennis players from across the state. Spectators are invited to witness the thrilling matches with free admission, and play will commence on Friday, September 22 at 8:00 am.

The event is expected to bring a significant boost to the local economy and showcase the vibrant tennis community in the region. The Kinston/Lenoir Rec department has extended a special thanks to Platinum Sponsors: VisitKinston, Kinston Country Club, Greene Ridge Racquet Club, Greene County Tennis Association, Greene Central High School, and the City of Kinston.
