Top Caliber 14 Bri Advances to Gold Bracket at Carolina Volleyball Classic

ROCKY MOUNT — Top Caliber Volleyball Club 14 Bri battled through a three-set thriller Saturday to defeat the Lady Spartans, 2-1, at the Carolina Volleyball Classic hosted at the Rocky Mount Event Center.

The Kinston-based club set the tone early, taking control in the opening set with steady execution and precise play to secure a 25-22 win. The Lady Spartans answered in the second set, rallying to edge Top Caliber 25-22 and even the match at one set apiece.

With the match on the line, both teams traded momentum in a tightly contested third set. Top Caliber 14 Bri showcased composure and resilience down the stretch, closing out the deciding frame 15-12 to claim the victory.

Coached by Brianna Dillard and Ce'Nedra Dillard, Top Caliber’s teamwork and determination were evident throughout the match as the squad continued its strong showing in tournament play.

With the win, Top Caliber 14 Bri advances to the gold bracket and will compete for the championship Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at the Rocky Mount Event Center.
