In a span of 3 games Rouse went 7 for 8, 5 Runs, 8 RBIs, 2 2B, 3 HR (1 grand slam). Not only has she killed it at the plate, Rouse also is nice on the mound. She managed to strike out 18 batters in 19 innings pitched. The NNS Athlete of The Week is sponsored by Senator Jim Perry.

NNS Male Athlete of the week goes to Arendell Parrott Academy golfer Wesley Blair. Blair knocked in a “Hole-In-One” on a 221 yard par 3 at New Bern Country Club on March 14th, 2022
Bethel Christian Academy hosted Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro) at Sutton Field on Friday afternoon. The Trojans built a 5-0 lead after three innings which would be enough runs to win their third straight game.
It went down in the Swamp last night. North Lenoir hosted South Lenoir and it lived up to expectations. Matthew Rhodes and Jackson Jenkins went toe to toe on the mound. Hawks came out victorious 9-7.
Lady Hawks and Lady Blue Devils go down to the wire. South Lenoir came away with the win in a tight contested baseball game.
