Rams suffer first conference loss of the season in failed comeback attempt against Cougars, 5-4.

Greene Central came into the contest against Southwest Edgecombe on a three-game winning streak. Their offense was the catalyst behind the streak but for the majority of the game, their bats went cold. The Rams found themselves in a one-run deficit going into the last inning. The bats would come alive for the Rams, but it would not be enough failing to come back and lose 5-4.
