Cougars Finish Undefeated, Claim Conference Championship

The Cougars wrapped up a perfect season with a 44–14 win over Rochelle, securing the conference championship and finishing 4–0 on the year.

Head Coach Dave Owens praised the team’s effort, saying, “We are so proud of our Cougars for an incredible season! It’s always a great day to be a Cougar, but today was especially amazing.”

The Cougars also swept the county and NNS, defeating Woodington, Frink, Rochelle, and Jones County Middle to complete a dominant run.

It was a season defined by teamwork, consistency, and pride — and the Cougars proved they’re the team to beat.
