Bethel Christian Academy Picks Up the 21-0 Win

The Bethel Christian Academy Trojans' three pitchers didn't allow a single hit as the Varsity Trojans soundly defeated Hilltop Christian 21-0 on Monday, improving their season record to 9-3 and 5-1 in conference play.

Bethel Christian got things started in the first inning when Cooper Williams doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. The team has now won five straight games against Hilltop dating back to 2016.

The Trojans' offense exploded in the fourth inning, scoring seven runs. Jamey Williams, Brayden Cash, Alex Hill, Jonathan White, Jamison Goff, and Cooper Williams all drove in runs during the impressive frame. 

Jamey Williams earned the win for the Trojans, surrendering zero runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out six, and walking zero. Brayden Cash and Jonathan White entered the game out of the bullpen, helping to close out the game in relief. 

The Trojans collected 15 hits throughout the game. Williams, Jason Turnage, Williams, Hill, Cash, and Zack Harrison all managed multiple hits for the team. Williams led the way, going 3-for-4 at the plate. The Bethel Christian Academy Trojans stole ten bases during the game, with three players stealing more than one. Goff led the way, swiping three bags.

Zack Harrison, who collected two hits in the game, has been on fire this season, batting an impressive .395 Bethel has a huge game vs. Wilmington Christian Academy (5-0) on Tuesday at 4 pm. The Trojans are one game behind them for first place in the conference.
