Greene Central Finishes Second at EPC Championship; Kinston and GC Earn All-Conference Honors
The Greene Central boys cross country team placed second overall at the Eastern Plains Conference Championship, while Kinston’s Jy’Re Rouse earned All-Conference recognition with a top-three finish.
Farmville Central captured the team title behind individual winner Gavin Hartman (16:54), followed by Greene Central’s consistent pack effort that placed three runners inside the top 10.
Colby Kaminski led the Rams with a 5th-place finish (19:42) to secure All-Conference honors. He was followed by Jan Carlos Morales in 9th (22:02) and Clayton Little in 10th (22:20), both also earning All-Conference recognition. Vann Howley finished 12th (22:43), and Zytrell Barfield rounded out Greene Central’s scoring in 19th (27:24).
For Kinston, Jy’Re Rouse turned in one of his best performances of the season, finishing third overall (19:34) to claim an All-Conference spot and lead the Vikings’ effort at the meet.
