Greene Central JV Dominates Farmville Central, Extends Win Streak to Eight

The Greene Central JV Rams continue to build something special.
Greene Central moved to 17-3 overall with a commanding 68-39 victory over Farmville Central, completing the season sweep after a 63-48 win in the first meeting. The Rams have now won eight straight games and remain undefeated at home (6-0) and perfect in conference play at 7-0.
Their only three losses this season have come against larger schools — Fike, J.H. Rose, and Northern Nash — making their current run even more impressive.
From the opening tip, Greene Central set the tone with defensive pressure and efficiency inside the arc. The Rams shot 31-of-68 from the field (46 percent) and dominated in the paint, going 30-of-57 on two-point attempts (53 percent). They also forced 27 steals, turning defense into easy transition opportunities throughout the night.
Kam Tyson led the way with 22 points on an efficient 11-of-17 shooting performance. He filled the stat sheet with six assists and a remarkable 10 steals, impacting the game on both ends of the floor.
Javionta Worthington added 21 points, shooting 10-of-17 from the field while grabbing five rebounds and collecting six steals. His ability to finish in traffic helped the Rams steadily extend their lead.
Motorro May contributed eight points and seven rebounds, while Kinyjiel Wellington controlled the glass with 11 rebounds to go along with four points. Treylan Eatmon added six steals and four assists, helping fuel Greene Central’s relentless defensive effort.
As a team, the Rams outrebounded Farmville and finished with 32 total rebounds, 13 assists, and three blocks. While they committed 22 turnovers, their defensive pressure more than made up for it, consistently disrupting the Jaguars’ offensive rhythm.
The win not only keeps Greene Central unbeaten in conference play but also reinforces its dominance at home, where the Rams are a perfect 6-0 this season.
With eight straight victories and a 17-3 record overall, the JV Rams continue to show balance, depth, and defensive intensity — a combination that has made them one of the most consistent teams in the league.
