Kinston/Lenoir County 10U All-Stars Set for Dixie World Series After Championship Send-Off

KINSTON — After capturing the 2025 North Carolina Dixie Youth Angels State Championship, the Kinston/Lenoir County 10U All-Star softball team is now preparing for its next challenge: the Dixie Angels World Series in Ruston, Louisiana.

Before hitting the road, the team will be honored with a community send-off reception on Thursday, July 24 at 6 p.m.at the Kinston Community Center. The event is open to players, families, local leaders, and all members of the media.

“We’d love to see everyone come out and cheer the girls on as they leave for Louisiana,” said head coach Jason Bryant. “It’s a special moment for them, and they’ve worked extremely hard to represent Kinston and Lenoir County the right way.”

Players and coaches will be available for interviews between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m., with the team scheduled to depart for Ruston between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m. Community members are encouraged to gather outside the center to help send off the team with a show of support.
