Neuse News Sports is looking for enthusiastic interns to join our crew this fall. If you live and breathe high school athletics—whether you’re a student, a recent graduate, or simply passionate about local sports—this is your chance to get in on the action.
About the Role
You’ll be on the ground covering live games in football, volleyball and soccer across Lenoir, Greene and Jones counties. From pre-game warmups to post-game interviews, you’ll capture the moments that matter most to our community and help bring them to life online.
What You’ll Do
Report from sidelines and courtside, gathering quotes, stats and photos
Write concise recaps and social-media highlights under deadline pressure
Assist with video clips, score updates and simple editing tasks
Coordinate with our editorial team on story ideas and coverage plans
