LCC Volleyball Releases 2025 Schedule, Highlighted by Heavy Home Slate and Region Showdowns

KINSTON, N.C. — The 2025 Lenoir Community College volleyball schedule is officially set, and the Lady Lancers are gearing up for a packed season featuring a strong mix of regional rivalries, showcase events, and a home-heavy campaign designed to keep fans in Kinston energized all fall.

LCC will play 18 home matches this season at the Kinston campus, including several multi-game Saturdays and Region 10 showdowns. The schedule kicks off August 23 with a home-opening tripleheader against Central Carolina CC and a USC Sumter/CCCC matchup.

The Lancers’ first road test comes a week later on August 30 when they travel to Winston-Salem to face Mid-Atlantic Christian at Forsyth CC. In total, the Lancers will play 7 true away games this season, making travel a relatively light load compared to years past.

Key Stretches:

  • Early Home Momentum: LCC opens the season with five straight home dates between Aug. 23 and Sept. 4, including key matches against Patrick & Henry CC and Guilford Tech CC.

  • September Surge: From Sept. 6–23, the Lancers play six of eight matches at home, including battles against Virginia Peninsula, Davidson Davie, and Pitt CC.

  • October Showdowns: The team’s postseason seeding could very well be determined in October, with big Region 10 rematches against Forsyth, Pitt CC, Fayetteville Tech (Oct. 9's Pink Night), and Wake Tech.

  • Senior Night Spotlight: The regular season concludes October 28 with a Sophomore Night clash against Louisburg College—an emotional finale on home court.

In total, LCC will face at least 10 different Region 10 opponents and participate in several tripleheaders, including a Sept. 13 home event that pits them against Davidson Davie, DDCC/USC-Union, and USC-Union.

Head coach and team leaders will be looking to capitalize on the generous home schedule and strong regional matchups as they aim for postseason contention.
