Male Athlete of the Week: Colby Kaminski, Greene Central Cross Country

Greene Central sophomore Colby Kaminski continues to raise the bar for the Rams’ cross country program with his steady improvement and leadership.

At last week’s home meet, Kaminski turned in a standout performance, finishing fifth overall with a new personal best time of 19:39. The effort marked another step forward in what has been a consistent season of progress.

Despite being just a sophomore, Kaminski has consistently challenged upperclassmen from across the conference and set the tone for his teammates through his work ethic and determination.

“Colby has made great strides this year and has improved every week,” his coach said. “His leadership and dedication have been great for the team.”

With one more conference meet remaining before the championship, Kaminski’s growth and consistency make him a deserving selection as this week’s Neuse News Male Athlete of the Week.
