In a dominant display of teamwork and skill, the JV Patriots of Arendell Parrott Academy shut down the JV Eagles of Rocky Mount Academy 34-16, allowing zero points in first three quarters. The Patriots showcased their young talent with standout performances from several freshmen.
The North Lenoir varsity soccer team took on Southwest Edgecombe in a non-conference matchup on Thursday evening. The Hawks played a very even game as they were able to beat the visiting Cougars 4-1. The win moves the Hawks to 6-2 on the season.

The win puts South Lenoir in a three-way tie for second place in the conference. With the win the Lady Blue Devils move to a 5-4 overall record and 3-1 in conference play.
In a match that will be remembered as a defining moment for Greene Central’s Lady Rams tennis team, they pulled off an electrifying 5-4 victory over 3A conference champions JH Rose. The win took place on the courts of JH Rose in Greenville and has sent reverberations throughout the sports communities.

It was a night for the history books at Jones Senior High School as they hosted their first-ever soccer game, delivering a resounding 9-0 victory over Kinston High School.

Greene Central High School's volleyball team clinched another conference win Tuesday night, defeating Southwest Edgecombe 3-1.

"These boys and South Lenoir soccer belong with the elite programs in this conference. We've taken the necessary steps to get here, and now it's up to the boys to believe what I know," Coach Jody Turner stated.
Leading the charge for Greene County was KaZarey Farrior, who contributed three touchdowns and racked up 150 yards of offense. DJ Green added another score and executed multiple two-point conversions to seal the win.
"I felt like all the boys came together and fought hard for our coach who passed away. I felt like we made him proud!" said Malik Fuller after the game. Fuller finished with 8 rushes for 283 yards and four touchdowns.

In a game that was as unpredictable as it was volatile, Greene Central faced off against Eastern Wayne in a home game that ended prematurely due to escalating on-field near brawls.
Richlands traveled to Deep Run, North Carolina, to face South Lenoir in a non-conference matchup, handing them a crushing 48-0 defeat.
The Kinston Vikings (2-1) entered their matchup against the Washington Pam Pack (0-2) sporting new gray jerseys and riding a two-game winning streak. However, early mistakes and missed opportunities led to a disappointing 12-7 loss.
The Patriots scored 11 touchdowns during the game while allowing only two. Eight of the touchdowns came on the ground, while the Patriot defense forced three turnovers for touchdowns.
The gym at Greene Central was filled with fans as they watched the Greene Central Lady Rams take on the Pam Pack from Washington. The Lady Rams dropped the first two sets but dug their heels into the ground to win the next two sets and force a fifth and deciding set.
