Greene County Parks and Recreation has officially opened registration for its 2025 youth tackle football season, providing a platform for local athletes ages 8 to 12 to get involved in organized football and build fundamentals that can carry into middle and high school programs.
Kinston/Lenoir County Parks & Recreation is now accepting registrations for Fall 2025 Flag & Tackle Football. Kids ages 7–12 can sign up through August 1st for just $30.
Malcolm Dawson has been named the new Director of Greene County Parks and Recreation, bringing nearly a decade of experience and a deep-rooted passion for his hometown. A Greene Central and UNC Pembroke graduate, Dawson is set to lead the department with a focus on community growth, youth programs, and senior engagement.
